Monaghan: ‘I’m a Metrosexual’
Written by Admin on January 17th, 2007

Actor DOMINIC MONAGHAN believes he should have been a homosexual – because he loves make-up, painting his nails and wearing skirts. The British star, who is dating his LOST castmate EVANGELINE LILLY, freely admits to being a “metrosexual”. He says, “I wear make-up and I paint my nails. I wear high heels. This is all true. I like wearing skirts. “I should probably be gay but I like women too much. “I am kind of metrosexual in the sense that, if I do get lost, I do ask for directions. I pull over to gas stations and ask. So I don’t know. I guess guys have a lot of pride.”

Written by Admin on January 15th, 2007

The couple that plays together saves the planet together. Eco-Canadian damsel Evangeline Lilly, the girlfriend of fellow Lost cast member and arch- Aussie environmentalist Dominic Monaghan, is now putting the babe into biodegradable.

She, we hear, is just one of the celebrities supporting and even helping design a new collection of inconvenient-truth-tackling lipsticks. And, lo, it’s a Canadian firm that’s behind the initiative!

Lost Star In Quit Scare
Written by Admin on January 3rd, 2007

LOST beauty Evangeline Lilly has been talked out of quitting the hit show by her co-star love Dominic Monaghan.

She was distraught following a blaze which destroyed the Hawaiian property, although no one was hurt.

“Evie was badly shaken by the whole experience,” a Lost insider said.

“She took it as some kind of sign that she should leave and move on to other things.

“In fact, if it wasn’t for Dom, she probably would have quit.”

Evangeline and Dominic Pick Up the Pieces
Written by Admin on December 21st, 2006

‘Lost’ star Evangeline Lilly and her co-star boyfriend Dominic Monaghan visited the burnt remains of her home on Wednesday night.

The pair waited until sunset before arriving at the house – which was destroyed by fire earlier that morning – in an attempt to salvage any remains.

A source said: “They came with flashlights and wore gloves to sift through the ashes. They only found a few personal items left intact, but Evangeline put on a brave face and managed a smile.”

The fire broke out at the star’s rented Hawaiian home – which she shared with two female crew members – at 6.30am while she was away on set. The house was entirely engulfed by fire within half an hour.

Honolulu Fire Captain Kenison Tejada said: “When we arrived the house was fully engulfed. The only thing standing was the roof and a couple of the interior walls. Most of the contents had been destroyed. The home was pretty much uninhabitable.”

Lilly, 27, who plays Kate in ‘Lost’ began dating co-star Monaghan earlier this year.

Their visit to search the remains of her burnt home echoed the early scenes of the cult show when the survivors of a plane crashed on a remote island salvaged what they could from the wreckage.

Monaghan’s Script Ideas Rejected
Written by Admin on November 24th, 2006

Actor DOMINIC MONAGHAN’s attempts to clarify the plot of complicated TV drama LOST have been dismissed by producers. The 29-year-old, who plays rocker and heroin addict CHARLIE PACE, thinks the desert castaways are at the mercy of a bitter billionaire wreaking revenge for past wrongs. But THE LORD OF THE RINGS star’s ideas fell on deaf ears with directors. He says, “One of the theories I came up with was that we’d all in some way p**sed off some huge billionaire. “He’d managed to get us all on a plane and have it crash into this island so that he could watch us from his castle with hidden cameras and create a TRUMAN SHOW nightmare for us all. “Maybe I’d s**gged his daughter, or EVANGELINE (LILLY)’s character, KATE, had stolen money from his bank, or JOSH (HOLLOWAY)’s character SAWYER, had fandangled money out of him. “But (the idea) got pooh-poohed by the writers.”

Dominic Monaghan’s Agent Really Earns His Money
Written by Admin on October 26th, 2006

Dominic Monaghan has recently stated talking about your salary with your co-workers is a bad idea! Wow! Those truly are words to live by! I mean really Dominic – you think? The “Lost” actor recently said that when actors publicly talk about money it causes uncomfortable situations for those involved behind the scenes.

To avoid these types of situations Dominic lets his agent do the talking to avoid information being misconstrued. I wonder if Dominic talks to his girlfriend and co-star Evangeline Lily about how much money he makes? I would think maybe the two would have to had shared that information with each other. The couple who has been dating for a while now is rumored to be planning a wedding for early next year. Again, another reason to talk about your finances, or maybe he just sends in his agent to talk to hers to avoid a conflict!

Dominic Monaghan slams actors moaning over money
Written by Admin on October 16th, 2006

‘Lost’ star Dominic Monaghan has slammed fellow actors for complaining to the media about their wages, by saying that they should leave matters relating to money to their agents.

The 29-year-old ‘Lord Of The Rings’ actor says that he is never amused by the idea of an actor talking about his money, as he believes that it should be done through a right channel.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea for actors to speak out of turn about money. I think they should let their agents do that because it just muddies the whole issue,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

“Then you have people getting upset that someone spoke instead of doing it through the right channels,” he said.

Monaghan insists that when the deals were on for ‘Lost’, he had let his agent fight battles over money matters on his behalf.

“There are 14 actors on Lost so it would just cost more money. I let my agent fight my battles in.”
